Undvik felaktigt reslutat
Varje alkometer har en noggrannhetstolerans på +/- X.XX för avläsningen- ju mindre siffra desto mer exakt är alkoholmätaren. AlcoSense Ultra har en smart programvara för att undvika -det vill säga istället för att ha en tolerans på +/- 0,10 ‰ BAC har AlcoSense Ultra en tolerans på +0,07 ‰ BAC, -0,00 ‰ BAC. Det betyder att Ulta alltid avläser resultatet som lite högre, än lägre, för att vara på den säkra sidan – resultatet är mer än tre gånger så precist som den prisbelönta AlcoSense Elite.

AlcoSense Ultra har en fullfärgad 1,8 tum (48 mm) TFT-skärm som ger tydliga och detaljerade avläsningar av din alkoholnivå. Du kan välja avläsning av utandning eller blod (mg / L eller µg / 100 ml) eller blod (% BAC eller ‰ BAC). Om du är nära eller över din valda gräns kommer Ultra att varna dig för att inte köra bil.

Bakgrundsbelyst "Twin" blåserörsreceptor
Ultra har en bakgrundsbelyst blåserörsreceptor som gör det enkelt att sätta på ett nytt blåsrör även i svagt ljus. Ultra fungerar med både "Pro" -munstyckena som har en enkelriktad ventil för att eliminera förorening från tidigare tester för extra noggrannhet, och med de "vanliga" munstyckena som används till AlcoSense Lite och Elite.
Omkalibreringsvarning
Alla alkoholmätare kräver omkalibrering efter en period av användning. AlcoSense Ultra har en branschledande kalibreringsperiod på 12 månader från första gången du använder den. För att förbättra tillförlitligheten och användarvänligheten påminner AlcoSense Ultra om att kalibrera om efter 11 månaders användning. När kalibreringen löper ut är det bara att skicka mätaren till oss så kommer vi att kalibrera det åt dig med hjälp av specifika andningssimulatorer, samma som polisen använder. Vi returnerar mätaren till dig inom 5 arbetsdagar.
Tempraturvarning
Om en alkoholmätare används under förhållande som avviker från mätrens normala driftstemperatur, kan du få felaktiga avläsningar. Temperaturen kan påverka kvaliteten på reaktionen inuti sensorn. För din säkerhet och ditt skydd varnar AlcoSense Ultra dig om enheten används i temperaturer som som avviker från 5 ° C ~ 40 ° C. Detta betyder att, till skillnad från konkurrerande varumärken, kommer Ultra aldrig låta dig utföra ett test om risken finns att få ett felaktigt resultat.
Mättnadsskydd

“Alcosense toppmodell, Ultra, fångade upp 1,4 liter luft vid inblåsning, vilket innebär att den också får med luft från djupt nere i lungorna. Det är den luften som visar den verkliga alkoholhalten och ger säkrare resultat. Ultraversionen är Alcosenses toppmodell. Den har en betydligt större sensor än de billigare modellerna, vilket borgar för exaktare mätresultat. Men stora sensorer kostar mer och då drar priset på produkten i väg. Om ett pris runt 3 500 kronor inte avskräcker är det en toppmätare på alla vis.”

Köpte alcosense ultra för drygt 1 månad sen och den har hjälpt både mig själv och min fru att inte sätta sig bakom ratten och köra för tidigt. Apparaten är väldigt lätt att förstå hur man ska göra fast bruksanvisningen är på engelska. Så fort du satt i batterierna i apparaten och tryckt in svenska i menyn ger det sig självt bara att följa instruktionerna. Ett stort plus är att apparaten skriver hur lång tid i displayen hur lång tid du har kvar tills du är nykter och kan köra bil utan att behöva vara orolig. Rekommenderar den till alla att ha som hjälp dagen efter innan man sätter sig i bilen. Köp den du ångrar det inte! Daniel i uddevalla

Got the AlcoSense Ultra by a recommendation from a friend. Makes life so much easier considering that one might feel good enough to drive but might still have alcohol left in the system. You never know how your body metabolises it. With this it's no longer a worry! Awesome product!

I just got my hands on the Ultra-version, and have since used it a couple of times when there's been a dinner with wine, and I need to drive the morning after. Doing this simple test gives me great confidence that I'm not driving while still under the influence of alcohol. The ease of use makes it even better, since it's just a three step procedure (turn it on by sliding the front, put the mouthpiece in place, blow continuously into the mouthpiece).
The only drawback is the price, that I think might deter a lot of people from getting it. Despite the price I highly recommend it!Rating -

Bought this for my girlfriend for Christmas. She's been wanting one for a long time but couldn't justify the spend. Managed to nab it for £200 on Black Friday weekend.I was very wary about buying this as there is limited information on the specific product (slightly more on their other products). Some reviews I questioned whether they were genuine, and seemed to appear on multiple sites, and no matter how hard I looked, I couldn't find proof of the Reddot Design Award anywhere other than the Alcosense website.That being said, as far as we can tell it's a great bit of kit. Yes it's a little pricey, and whilst my girlfriend admitted I could well have gone for one of their cheaper products, she also accepted at the same time that she would feel much more comfortable trusting this one in comparison.On the one hand, you can only take their word for it that it is legit because you can't exactly compare it to a police Breathalyzer yourself. That being said, we have tested it a few times after having a couple of drinks (READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, using it too soon after drinking can damage the sensor, and the alcohol may not be completely in your blood stream), and readings appear to be accurate when comparing to how you would assume your levels to be according to both units consumed and time since last drink.The breathcoach is a MUST. My girlfriend's got it spot on now, but I still struggle with it, and know if I had one of the models that lacks this feature I would never get a reading! Very useful indeed.Had a few issues in downloading the software updates too due to warnings (addressed on their website) that the file isn't commonly downloaded.IN A NUTSHELL - seems like a great product. Blowcoach is brilliant, the case and mouthpieces it comes with are brilliant, and we feel we trust what it tells us. Price is a little steep aye. The look and feel of this product is great. It DOES NOT feel cheap in any way.WHY ONLY FOUR STARS? - The difficulty in finding information on the product before buying made me very wary for the amount of money. Help us out Alcosense! Publicise this more, have more interviews with papers and WELL KNOWN websites + publications. Show us some proof of the Red Dot Design Award and try and get more video reviews etc. Work out the issues with the firmware file not being trusted with browsers and Virus Software.Otherwise. Great!

I already had the Alcosense Pro but wanted the most accurate one I could get. I was concerned the Pro model was under reading but there are so many variable's attached to drinking and the human body it is often difficult to know where you stand 'drinking'. I always get a taxi on the night but this was bought for the morning after - just to make sure. I drink, I lose my job - so the cost of this unit made sense. Yes, I am paranoid having two but one stays at home and one in the car for when I am staying away for a night or two.Both units read effectively the same so I am confident they are both working ok. Would i pay extra again for the dearer one - bearing in mind it is £100 more. Well, yes, as it comes with a load of tubes and a case which adds to the cost of the cheaper unit. It had the full size fuel cell but seemingly the Pro unit as opposed to Ultra is, to me at least, as accurate. If anything the cheaper unit over read slightly which I don't have an issue with at all !The build is good. The display to tell you how hard to blow and for how long is excellent and the unit starts up quickly. The Pro takes a lot longer to analyse the alcohol in your breath compared to the Ultra which is extremely quick. The Ultra also shows a zero reading where the cheaper unit just says 'below 9' if using the UK measurement of alcohol/breath levels.I am very pleased and have come to this from the old £60 Alcosense model which finally died last year.My job is vital to me and I think to prevent inadvertently driving the morning after whilst still over the limit this unit is worth the money. Expensive, yes, but how much is your job worth ?

Previously had an alcosense elite and decided to upgrade to the Ultra. Unit looks and feels fantastic and seems to work exceptionally well...what's great is it's very easy to use and doesn't need to be set up with diluted alcohol like the elite. Only slight concern for me is that the readings are very different...I've been using them both at the same time and they do seem to vary quite a bit so not sure which one is accurate...assume it's the Ultra?
AlcoSense says: If you have had the Elite for some time and not had it re-calibrated this is most likely the reason for the variation. You should have your breathalyser calibrated once a year, the longer it goes without calibration the more the reading may drift.Rating -

Had the elite for 3 years and loved it, decided it was time to upgrade as my sensor was over due re calibration and i was delighted that alcosense gave me £50 for my elite which cost about £60 3 years ago.
I recomend alcosense products and think every one that drives should have one, youl be surprised at the results the day after a night out.

Not a cheap bit of kit - but worth every penny. Easy and quick to use, better than any other breathalyser I have ever used. I like the feature that gives you an estimate of when you should re-test if you are over the limit. I would recommend to anyone!

Excellent piece of kit. Just need to get used to how the mouthpiece is inserted. Also for the price of the machine it would have been good if a case could have been included in the price- even if moderate cost was added to the purchase price.

Why Risk Your Licence When Alcosense is Available

I originally purchased the Alcosense Lite, then after watching a top gear programme I purchased the Alcosense Elite which I thought was superior. Then when Scotland reduced the alcohol limit I opted to splash out on the Ultra. Personally I think this is one piece of motoring kit every motorist should not be without., if you value your licence and like the odd tipple now and again why risk losing your licence just for the sake of spending a few pounds on any of the Alcosense range, if you can afford it go for the top of the range sensor you wont regret it.

Excellent. I cannot compare it to the police intoximeter as I would have to be drunk and stopped to compare! I use it in the mornings and I am sure it is accurate.
It was reviewed on a car program recently and matched the police unit.

AlcoSense Ultra - good for keeping employees in check

The AlcoSense Ultra was bought to replace a {BRAND NAME REMOVED BY ALCOSENSE} breathalyser which had died. In comparison to our old breathalyser the AlcoSense Ultra is excellent. So much easier to use and seems very accurate - although I don't now have anything to compare it to. I own a same day courier company and we use it for testing the drivers before giving them the keys each day - as we're a small company I use it at the weekend sometimes and it's been great for that too! For testing other people it's easy to tell if the person being tested is trying to mess with the test as it shows you on screen how they're blowing so there's no excuse for throwing a test by trying to trick the breathalyser. We have set our own company limit which is half the UK limit and this is very easy to change in the unit settings. Design is rugged so I think it'll last well. No negatives so far. I would recommend it.
