Construction workers seem to face threat of morning after drink and drug driving as they make up 7 of the 10 'professions' most likely to be convicted

New data suggests construction workers are more likely to be caught drink or drug-driving than any other profession. It is likely that this indicates a number are being caught the morning as construction workers typically start early - when they may still have alcohol in their system.
Data by MoneySuperMarket (the insurance comparison website) found that the construction trade made up 7 of the top 10 categories most likely to have committed a drink or drug driving offence. Despite the prevalence of construction workers the top ranking offender was Mature Students - Living at home. Soldiers and Mature Students away from home made up the top 10.
MoneySuperMarket reviewed 9.8 million quotes on its site.
