Jersey plans to lower the drink drive limit in 2018 in plans introduced by the Infrastructure Minister.
Deputy Eddie Noel has proposed a lower drink drive limit that would bring Jersey into line with Scotland on 0.05%BAC. Jersey currently has the same limit of 0.08%BAC as England, Wales and Northern Ireland (although Northern Ireland will also be reducing it next year).
The proposal was published in the Jersey Road Safety Plan 2017-2019 and Deputy Noel said he wants to reduce the limit by 2018.
